HCofWA is a small Club with limited resources and has reached (or is close to reaching) maximum Membership. Regrettably we are unable to offer Prospective Visitors the opportunity to REGISTER with us or participate in our activities till further notice.

The following information describes our usual process for taking on New Members.
Prospective Visitors would register their interest in walking with us by completing a Registration Form (not available at this time).
As a REGISTERED VISITOR you would be placed on our EASY Walk Register for up to four (4) consecutive EASY walks. You would be asked to read through the information, supplied by the Non-Member Manager, as it contains important information about each activity including how to book in and what to bring. We would require you to book yourself (only) in with the Organiser of your EASY walk – their contact information would be found within the details of that activity.
REGISTERED VISITORS are welcome on EASY walks only. There is no Walk Fee for the first walk as a REGISTERED VISITOR.
After you attend an EASY walk as a REGISTERED VISITOR, you might be approved as a NON-MEMBER which would give you access to book in for SOCIAL activities and EASY, EASY/MODERATE, MODERATE or MODERATE/HARD walks.
The Walk Fee for NON-MEMBERS is $5.00 per Walking Activity plus any other costs that may be incurred in the organisation of an activity.
After you complete a further three (3) walks as a NON-MEMBER within a twelve (12) month period, you could apply to join the HIKING CLUB OF WA (subject to there being a vacancy as we do have a limit on our number of Members).
Membership is on an individual basis. The cost to join is $5.00 (a one-off Joining Fee) plus a pro-rata portion of the Annual Membership Fee not exceeding 12 months. The Annual Membership Fee is currently $36.00.
